EEI provides both geotechnical and environmental services for multi-family development clients. For this 160-unit loft/apartment project site in Los Angeles, EEI investigated releases associated with former fuel spills and petroleum production; developed a Remedial Action Plan to mitigate soil prior to development, and gained regulatory approval with the Local Lead Agency (LOA).
EEI's Senior Geotechnical Engineer was the Engineer-of-Record for this San Diego High-Rise residential development, which included subterranean parking and typical urban site development constraints. Preliminary assessment, geotechnical engineering evaluation, deep foundation design, tie-backs, and site construction services were all provided during the successful construction of this project.
EEI staff have provided a full complement of geotechnical services, ranging from initial site investigation, design recommendations for ground improvement, mitigation, slopes, foundations, utilities, roads, and grading plans for many master planned communities within Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Riverside, Imperial, and San Diego County. Services have included grading supervision and testing for thousands of homes over the last 20 plus years.
EEI provides geotechnical investigation, engineering, soils testing, forensics, and related field services to a wide variety of residential developers. Projects range from high-end coastal single family homes, to large master-planned communities, multi-family apartment/condo developments, and high rise structures in urban settings.
